This microwave thermostat is very easy to diagnose.  They are normally closed at room temperature (has continuity) with minimal if any resistance.  Most digital multimeters have a simple continuity setting - if it beeps, the thermostat is good.

This is NOT a cavity thermostat, fan thermostat, or main thermal fuse. In other words if you're trying to replace a thermostat at the bottom of the microwave (behind the keypad) or one in the main oven cavity - this is not the part. 

Don't bother sending us the numbers written on the thermostat. For the most part they're meaningless. To look up the correct thermostat, we need the model of the microwave.
