This part stores ice and uses the auger to feed it from the bucket to the dispenser.

Reasons for replacement may include:

• Cracked or broken bucket
• Worn or damaged auger preventing ice from moving through the dispenser.
• Ice clumping or jamming issues due to prolonged use or humidity exposure.
• Failure to dispense ice due to mechanical wear or internal damage.

While many of the internal components are available and replaceable, it is often easier and much less time consuming to replace the entire assembly.  If you are finding plastic in your ice, we suggest replacing the entire assembly.
